The Otherworld Rebellion War of Alien Aggression eBook AD Bloom
If I'm speaking honestly, the plot didn't take me where I thought it would. I don't mean that in a bad way- it was quite refreshing. When I finished the first chapter I thought this would be another book full of cliches and predictable outcomes but shortly after I was introduced to Ram I became unable to determine what would come next.If the cover and description didn't give it away, this book takes place in a futuristic science fiction setting. We start with man on a ship who we later find out is now recognized as a rebel. Of course, with any rebel story you have a character pursuing said rebel but the charm of this one is that he is willing to be open minded for the betterment of life. It is that attitude that made the read so much more enjoyable. Having a character that was willing to be bold with his words (rather than nice) not only helped move the plot along, it made all of the characters as a whole more realistic.
*As a reader of quite a few Kindle books I feel the need to point out that this book is both well formatted and well edited.

The Otherworld Rebellion War of Alien Aggression eBook AD Bloom Reviews
This whole series is some of the best military sci-fi I've ever read... And I've read a lot of military sci-fi.
Great!!!
Great reading. I was snowed in this winter.
I could not put it down !
I like this entire series and have read through them several times. I like it that the endings are good. I like the excellent depiction of imagery, nicely done. Many of the scenes are etched in my brain, for review and enjoyment. Hope you like this latest sequel! I was not at all disappointed. Quite the contrary, am still smiling at the loose ends tied up, and the groundwork laid for the next one!!!
This was my least favorite books in this series. In fact, even though it has many of the same characters in the same universe, I don't think it belongs with the "Alien Aggression" series. This takes place many years after "Devlin's War" but there is more discontinuity than the lost time time in between. Like some of Bloom's other books, this felt like several short stories tied together but while the timeline was continuous, the story line wasn't. The tale jumped in fits and starts with huge gaps of missing detail. This along with many typographical errors makes me wonder if Bloom decided to skip the editing this time around... It was an okay read, but not nearly up to the standards set by the previous books.
The eleventh book in Bloom’s military sci-fi epic moves the storyline forward by twenty years. The plot shifts away from the war between humans (and their allies) and the Imperium, which has fallen into a costly stalemate. The Long Front, as the new warzone is called, requires an endless supply of ships and crews to maintain the status quo. Otherworld, the planet discovered at the end DEVLINS WAR, is just one of many exploited by Staas Company and the UN to facilitate the never ending war against the Imperium. And here is where we find Ram Devlin and Company. Ram is not going to allow Staas to strip his adopted homeworld of its resources and people, nor will he let them take an ancient alien artifact. The plot of book 11 is fresh, as the emphasis has shifted away from the alien war. Devlin is as idealistic as ever, and just as powerless to thwart the larger forces surrounding him. Though he can and does choose to initiate his own preemptive action. Hank Devlin (the clone of Harry Cozen) has matured and is still the inscrutable visionary who precipitated the whole War of Alien Aggression in the first place. A great continuation of Bloom’s universe and a refreshing change of perspective. And I was pleased to read of the return of one of my favorite characters, last seen way back in HARDWAY, book number 1 in the series. Great sci-fi from a writer with a seemingly boundless imagination. This book isn’t perfect, but it is a highly enjoyable sci-fi read (as is the entire series).
